It was explicitly decided to not include
it in the "base" Eclipse platform (by Eclipse Project leaders
and PMC) ... that, given EPP and p2, there were better delivery options.
I know some of the EPP packages included
it, but ... but guess not all. Might help to open a bug in EPP that it
be added? In theory, could be added in Juno SR1 if the packages wanted
to (and got enough requests :)

hi list,
i was under strong impression that egit is going to be
included into such default eclipse distributions like jee since helios.
but unfortunately i still cannot see it in Juno.
can anybody shed any light on what is going on in this
regard and what are the plans? any insight is much appreciated.
