You feel good about finalizing 1.0 and tagging?

It's a real shame that we have such a bad commit dialog for 1.0. The new one adds very little to what it used to be before, yet hides the checkboxes like "generate change id" and "add signed off by" which were persisted between dialog invocations before. 

Not only that, but the style of the dialog (using forms elements) really makes it look different from pretty much eery other commit dialog for no reason. With people being used to the dialog from 0.12 in Helios and considering the fact that Git will be different enough from most other vision control systems, introducing different UI metaphors for the sake of it is unlikely to help.
