states that SDO functionality is deprecated starting version 3.0, but
also says it's still supported.
What does it mean in terms of usage?
Other technologies/solutions are preferred for new apps.
Some projects in our company use EclipseLink's SDO implementation, so
can we upgrade to version 3.0 or better stay on 2.7 ?
Yes, you can upgrade. If you do not plan to use JPMS, there should be no
difference but if you want to use it, then 3.0 is better option going
forward.
