Re: [eclipse.org-planning-council] ECF/p2 and Network Proxies

We have about 3 working days to resolve this issue before RC1 is built on Wed evening.

Is there someone empowered to resolve this issue?

Thank you Leif for reporting back here - can you comment your confirmation on https://github.com/eclipse-equinox/p2/issues/381 and we can start working with the Eclipse Equinox project to either restore Apache HttpClient or fix the problem.

Hi,

just did some first testing:
- SOCKS and Https Proxy without authentication worked for me with 2023-12 M2.
- Sadly, Https Proxy with authentication (digest or basic auth) does not work with 2023-12 M2 (but does work with 2023-09).

I guess, Ed is right, and we have a severe problem here.

Leif
