| [eclipse.org-members-committers] Results of the Membership Vote on Bylaws and Membership Agreement Revisions |
Dear Eclipse Members, Committers and Board of Directors,
Following the recent vote of the Membership At-Large, the proposed
modifications to the existing Eclipse Foundation, Inc.’s Bylaws
and Membership Agreement have been overwhelmingly approved by 97%
of the 192 votes cast.
As a result of this vote, along with the previous approval of the
Board of Directors, the approved Bylaws and Membership Agreement
are now in effect. The new documents have been posted on the Governance
Documents page on our website.
As a reminder, these changes are a crucial step in our governance
reorganization. As a reminder, details of the reorganization are
available here,
and a summary of the changes to our existing Bylaws and Membership
Agreement just approved are available here. More
information about the next major step where we will begin
operations of the new Eclipse Foundation AISBL will be forthcoming
over the coming few weeks.
