[eclipse.org-members-committers] Upcoming Reviews, Feb 2-9/2011

Greetings folks. Happy Groundhog Day!
We have only two reviews on the list for the week of February 2-9/2010.
Linux Tools 0.7 Release Review [1]. This release is largely a bug-fix
release, but does add Valgrind plug-in support on Mac OS, as well as new
LTTng features and performance improvements. The review documentation
and IP Log will be posted shortly.
EGit/JGit 0.11.0 Release Review. The EGit and JGit projects continue
their frequent release trend, bringing us their 0.11.0 release review.
This release brings new features like Mylyn integration and performance
improvements.
I'd like to draw your attention to the new Mylyn Intent project [2].
This project is focused on providing an editing environment to author
documentations mixing natural and formal language, easing the
application life-cycle management by capturing the intents and design
choices made during development.
A few months ago we made a small change in the proposal process. In the
past, we would create a dedicated forum/newsgroup as a communication
channel for each new proposal. With the change, we have a single
communication channel, eclipse.proposals [3] where all proposal
communication occurs. My sense is that this change is working well. Let
me know if you disagree.
If you pay attention to such things, you may have noticed a net drop of
fifteen (15) projects at Eclipse. This the result of several project
terminations that completed in January. You may also have noticed a net
increase of forty (40) active committers at Eclipse. In January we added
Git support to our Dash tools; so these are actually newly active
committers, but rather are existing active committers whose activity we
are now tracking.
If your project uses Git, specify your repository in the form
'/gitroot/[project]/[repo]' in the "source repository" field in the
developer portal.
