Declaration for the Sapphire Project

The Sapphire project (http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/sapphire/) is a proposed open source project under the Technology Container Project (http://www.eclipse.org/projects/project_summary.php?projectid=technology).

Sapphire aims to raise UI writing to a higher level of abstraction by offering a property editor as the basic building block of UI development, making development faster while improving quality, maintainability, and consistency.

We solicit additional participation and input from the Eclipse community. Please send all feedback to the Sapphire forum (http://www.eclipse.org/forums/eclipse.sapphire).
