I sort of agree and sort of disagree.  For one, we could have more than six keynote-like talks.  If we have capital-K Keynotes (everybody attends) and little-k keynotes (parallel with other sessions), then we could fit in more talks.  Or if we have keynotes morning, after lunch, and then at the end of the day we could have eight instead of six.

But, yes, each of the three sub-committees was given a "fill a minimum of one or a maximum of two" keynote slots.

I know people are trying hard to get keynote speakers set up for EclipseCon 2006. One thing I would ask you to keep in mind is to be careful that we don't accidentally end up with too many. It would be rather embarrassing for the Eclipse Foundation to tell a senior executive that we've changed our mind and no longer want them to speak at our conference.
