[eclipse.org-committers] Eclipse Project Announcement and Upcoming Reviews

Hello all,

Below is an announcement from the Google Summer of Code project, as well as a list of upcoming reviews.

Note: IP Log approval is still pending for the XSL and EPF projects. Please check the website next week to see if these reviews will happen as planned on August 13 or will be postponed. Thanks.

Project Announcement

The SOC project is pleased to announce the creation of the Athena
component. Athena is a set of wizards aimed at simplifying the process
of creating special project structures. For example, to create a release
engineering module (a module which, once created, will allow automated
builds to be made for a particular project) currently requires many hand
made changes to a template [1]. This component makes such projects
simpler to create by 1) providing a wizard interface to such projects
and 2) subsequently generating the project from the user provided input.
