Request to release fix for Status Handling

I would like to request approval to
release the fix for the following bug in 3.4.2

: NPE in WorkbenchStatusDialogManager.addStatusAdapter()

This prevents the condition generating
the NPE, which was reported to occur in products in the field.  It's
a relatively small fix with accompanying junit test.

Christopher Daniel produced the patch
and test.  I've reviewed the patch.

I should note that the fix and test
were released into the 3.4_maintenance branch on 2009-01-15 but no request
was sent to the PMC and therefore the fix was not included in any build.
