Re: [eclipse-mirrors] Potential mirror

Hi

I apologize for the delay in responding to you.  Eclipse.org is quite resource intensive in terms of bandwidth. However, I don't know the amount of traffic that the mirrors are experiencing.   Perhaps some of the mirror maintainers can provide some further detail?  As more mirrors become available, the amount of bandwidth directed to your site will decrease.  We receive two to three requests a day to mirror the downloads so the community is growing quite steadily.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Kim

hello,

we're actively considering becoming a mirror for eclipse, but due to
internal business req's we need to know a little about what might be
involved in terms of resource usage...

do you chaps have any stats on how hard we're likely to get hit?
