Martin,

I think it's a matter of scope and depth.  The link you referred to  
seems poised to discuss the most frequently used patterns in Eclipse  
development (using shiny new "e4" apis wherever possible) whereas the  
new document I created is for more of an exhaustive but shallow list  
(beyond the "20 things").

More than anything, I wanted to set this up as a concise porting guide  
with deep links into the old api and new (if applicable).
