The log file will appear if something
goes wrong (exception thrown, messages...). Are you saying that eclipse
"crashed" and you could not find a log file?

Hi,
 
I cannot find eclipse 3.0 log file. Log file
property points to workspace/.metadata/.log file, but this file is missing.
This happens only with eclipse 3.0. No problems with 2.x version.
 
Log file is absent if eclipse is running
or closed.
 
What am I missing?
