I use Gentoo in a right way from long time ago.
It have a beautiful system to compile every package from sources with a
simple command:
"emerge eclipse-sdk-3.0"

Because of this system does not work with on my iBook, I make
compilation "by hand" following eclipse-website-compile-instruction.

Same problem.
Trashing!!!

Gentoo's java-ppc developer reply to me that this problem is "knowed but
not solved".
After various test, I think to answer this to the Eclipse Developer.
Wy with ibm-jdk-1.4.2 on linux-ppc, eclipse does not compile?
Compilation process produce some "unresolved symbol".

IBM indicate that it's JVM it's cool to use with eclipse (obviously).
Answer?

Please, help me and all the gentoo comunity
