Hi,

By auto-connect I meant whatever way to connect to a provider when
Eclipse starts (in case of UI integrated into the workbench or an RCP
application). You all seem to know much more about how that is done so
I really don't have any more comments right now.

I have some headless use cases, but in those cases my own code will
know when exactly to make the connections.
