Re: [e4-dev] Preferences management for e4

Hi all,
Fortunately, both of our GSoC proposals regarding EPreferences project have been accepted. We would like to start discussion regarding the project to establish functionality that would be beneficial to the Eclipse e4 project. We provided a copy of our GSoC proposals as Google Doc [1]. Our mentor started a bug regarding EPreferences project [2].

This is very interesting. Unfortunately, one cannot comment on the proposals unless they are a mentor so it is difficult to have a public discussion there.

If the project is accepted (pending proposal evaluations and slot allocations from Google) then we should continue the discussions on a bug instead of using something specific to Summer of Code.

Also see bug 334016 for a contribution from Ericsson.
