Yes, this sort of contribution is very welcome!

We've seen your previous patches and anticipate including them in the
Ganymede release. We'd be happy to have any further contributions that
you'd like to make, and of course, we'd also be happy to discuss having you
join the Enablement project team to work directly in this area.

We don't have a requirements list for exemplary support, but our Apache
Derby exemplary implementation demonstrate these features:

* Specialized model extension and database definition document (we have the
latter for SQL Server already)
* Driver definitions and connection profiles (we have the former for SQL
Server, the latter would allow for setting of SQL Server specific
configuration, specific connection handling, etc.)
* Integration with SQL Dev Tools -- editor and result view (Apache Derby
exemplary implementation as an example of this)

There's also more capability in DTP currently not supported by exemplary
implementations, but we'd be happy to talk with you about these areas:

* Database debug support
*Execution plan visualization
* SQL Query Builder specialization (including specialization of the SQL
parsers in DTP).

Hi DTP-dev,

I've reported a few bugs with patches a while back, some of which were to
do with SQL Server which I happen to use regularly. Before I add/extend
more SQL Server 200x enablement functionality, I'd like to know, is this
welcomed?
Would this be considered for Ganymede?
