RE: [dsdp-tm-dev] issue #192610 bugzilla

Hello Yaron,

as explained on
we could not reproduce the issue of fully blocking Eclipse.

It is slow (VERY slow indeed) but it does finish eventually.
Bad performance may be partly due to the JDT, perhaps also
partly due to RSE. As a matter of fact, JDT is currently not
designed to work from remote workspaces, that's why it
behaves not so well.

As you see from the target milestone set on bugzilla, we
are striving to fix all RSE / EFS related issues for TM 2.0.1
but this does not guarantee that it'll work properly in your
environment, because the tools (JDT, CDT, PDT, PHPEclipse,
whatever...) also need to do their share to be "remote-aware".

Currently it looks like they are not and you're better off
creating a local workspace that's a copy of your remote
one, either with RSE Import/Export or with rsync.

Please any future communication about this bug right on
the bug itself.

Thanks,

Subject: [dsdp-tm-dev] issue #192610 bugzilla

Hi all.

Since we would like to use RSE as a standard plugin, can you tell when this issue

is planned to be fixed ?

Thank’s,

Yaron
