acronyms :-)

In the DSDP project, we are mostly interested in discovery methods
that are very lightweight to implement in our devices. So far, we've
come up with Zeroconf / Bonjour.

Are there also free implementations of SLP libraries in C, such
that it could be used in a very constrained embedded device?
How "resource expensive" is it to use SLP?
