Ales,
The first step to becoming a committer is to begin
contributing to the project. Basically, open a bug in Bugzilla describing the
enhancement that you wish to make, and attach the code you have written there as
a patch. The existing committers will evaluate the code, perhaps make changes or
recommend that you make changes, and eventually accept the code into MTJ. Once
you have made a number of contributions in this manner, you can apply to become
a committer. There is some paperwork to be completed, and your nomination must
be approved by the existing committers (via a vote). The process is pretty easy,
and documented on the Eclipse.org site.
