[cross-project-issues-dev] Important: Change of p2 filetransfer backend.

Hey everyone,

P2's filetransfer backend has been switched from Apache HttpClient 5.x to JVM's builtin HttpClient. The team has verified that the normal use case works just fine but historically problems arise with some proxies and other corporate environments that can not be reproduced by the team.

Please download the latest Platform I-build (https://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/index.html), test that installing/updating plugins still works for you and if you face a problem you would have to be the most active part in identifying the exact problem, reporting it (https://github.com/eclipse-equinox/p2/issues) and even providing a PR fixing it or at least a test case to reproduce it.  The team will try helping you out as much as we can, although if not reproducible in the wild will make us "guess" things for you to test.
