Sheldon, The process is to send an email to the technology-pmc mailing list. I've cc'd this email to the list, so consider the process started. You explain (below) why Dojo should be considered "already on the user's machine", but why should an IP review of Dojo be considered "impossible, impractical, or inadvisable"? I can imagine some reasons, but I need the reasons to be yours and not mine :-) Note that "we shouldn't review it because it is available via an url and everyone is connected to the internet all the time" is not a valid reason because, quite honestly, all software is available that way these days and we don't want to just not IP review anything - that would be bad :-( - Bjorn >From reading the Eclipse Policy and Procedure document it seems that a pre-req may be classified as 'exempt'. a. A pre-req may be classified as "exempt" by the EMO if the software is pervasive in nature, expected to be already on the user's machine, and/or an IP review would be either impossible, impractical, or inadvisable. Dojo pre-req for COSMOS might fit into this clasification for the following reasons. It is expected that the user be connected to the web where DOJO is expected to be hosted on the Content Delivery Network at http://o.aolcdn.com/dojo/1.0.0/dojo/dojo.xd.js.uncompressed.js Bjorn, Is there an official process to submit a proposal to the Technology PMC?
