Re: [cosmos-dev] Release engineering wiki page

Balan,

I think this is a good start.  I know that Don has some distinct ideas around the delivery of cosmos technologies.  I expect he'll start documenting his ideas on this page, but if you don't see anything a day or so prior to the next public RE meeting, you should ping him for a quick reminder.

The other thing to think of is to make sure we have IP clearance from eclipse on any of the dependencies that we need.  Sheldon is working on dojo now, but there could be others.  For example, if we want to ship a completely packaged up tomcat, then we'd need to make sure eclipse is ok with that.

Thanks,
-mw

[cosmos-dev] Release engineering wiki page

Hello-

The Release Engineering team has created a new wiki page under developer resources. We will add more details on what components are built today and links to outstanding build related defects later today.

http://wiki.eclipse.org/COSMOS_RE_AND_BUILD

Please open build related bugs and feature requests in bugzilla for both i6 and i7. For i6, we do not anticipate any major changes but if there are small issues that need to be fixed we can work on that.

Thanks,

Balan
