A discussion is about to start on the IETF MIB2RMDL mailing list to
explore the potential of creating standards for interoperability between
SNMP and web services. Specific topics range from development of a
mapping to permit one way model conversions from existing SNMP MIBs to
standards that would facilitate the creation of dynamic gateways between
SNMP and XML infrastructures.
