Hi Joel,
I followed the instructions. When
I run the org.eclipse.cosmos.dc.local.registry/persistence_setup \build.xml
file I get the following
Buildfile: E:\development\cosmosEclipseM7\eclipse\workspace\org.eclipse.cosmos.dc.local.registry\persistence_setup\build.xml
buildschema:
BUILD FAILED
E:\development\cosmosEclipseM7\eclipse\workspace\org.eclipse.cosmos.dc.local.registry\persistence_setup\build.xml:15:
Java returned: 1
Total time: 1 second
Do you know what the problem might be?
I'm also having problems trying to compile
org.ecipse.cosmos.dc.sample.jpa and org.eclipse.cosmos.dc.tptp.agentcontroller.
I can't find org.eclipse.cosmos.dc.sample.types.StatisticalObject
and javax.persistence.*
classes.
I assume I don't need these plugins
if I just want to query the database.

Fellow DCers,
I’ve updated the instructions at http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/COSMOSDataCollectorEnvironment
that describe how to assemble a DC environment. There’s information for
getting Apache Derby and iBatis and initializing the ProviderRegistry and
StatisticalCollector database tables.
I’ll add another page describing how to run
the end-to-end using JMX (collection and querying) shortly.
