We are using Core Build Makefile, and in the future we will use Core Build CMake. For complex systems it's easier to use handwritten (C)Makefiles, and let the IDE detect all required information during the build step. Team members can choose to work with IDE or command line. Regressions use the same (C)Makefiles.
