Re: [cdt-dev] CDT update site for Indigo for Hudson nightly builds

Hi Henning,
The weekly build page still keeps the weekly builds as before. You can copy builds from there or install from Hudson, that is your choice. If you feel that the weekly build that happens on Friday is more stable than Hudson build I don't think so.

Thanks,
Andrew

Hi,

Even though my questions come a bit late but,

a) Is this to replace the weekly build page? Or do you still copy to weekly build page?
b) Could you mirror the weekly builds? Or why is that main download site so slow?

Henning

I made Hudson to create p2 update site on each successful build. Here is the permanent link:

Let's do that in the Hudson build command for now so that it doesn't affect the cron builds on the Eclipse build server every Friday mornings.

The p2 metadata (artifacts.jar and content.jar) is generated with every build so I think all we need to do is to extract the master zip file to some folder on Hudson. You can then point to that folder to install CDT from Eclipse.

Is it a good idea to do it in build.xml or better to do it in Hudson build command?
