Recently, I was having trouble with
the makefile builder and the internal builder during expansion of include
paths and tracked it down to bug 193317 (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=193317).
If the org.eclipse.debug.ui plugin fails during startup then all the eclipse
variables it provides (including workspace_loc) cannot be expanded. The
bug has been targeted for 3.3.1: if that isn't soon enough for any of you,
then I suggest you add your comments in bugzilla or implement a workaround
in CDT.

Two days left. Can you believe it? Only 5
bugs left, all dealing with docs, tests, and releng.
 
The end game plan is to do the final build
this Friday probably at 4 p.m. EDT (Ottawa time). This will give us a chance
to fix up as much of the docs as we can. I will then update the Europa
site to contain this build. We then have until, lets say, 12 noon EDT on
Wednesday for any emergency rebuilds. That will give us a chance to get
everything together before the 5 p.m. EDT cut-off set by the Eclipse webmaster.
The servers are then locked down to downloads until the mirrors are updated
and then opened up on Friday morning at 9 a.m. EDT.
