Regarding 191521 :

 

I took the New and Noteworthy document Beth started and added more content, mixed in screenshots from Linux and Mac OS, and did some additional formatting. This is in the docs plug-in now but really needs more contributions from people who know some of the new features better than I do. For example the gdb hardware debug section is currently empty.

 

It would be great if you and the other committers could look this over and provide any additional content etc. I 'd hope we could also put this up on the web site when the final release goes up.

Two days left. Can you believe it? Only 5 bugs left, all dealing with docs, tests, and releng.

 

The end game plan is to do the final build this Friday probably at 4 p.m. EDT (Ottawa time). This will give us a chance to fix up as much of the docs as we can. I will then update the Europa site to contain this build. We then have until, lets say, 12 noon EDT on Wednesday for any emergency rebuilds. That will give us a chance to get everything together before the 5 p.m. EDT cut-off set by the Eclipse webmaster. The servers are then locked down to downloads until the mirrors are updated and then opened up on Friday morning at 9 a.m. EDT.
