CDT 4.0 is being released as part of the
Europa simultaneous release of Eclipse. More information is available at:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Europa_Simultaneous_Release
The schedule there puts CDT 4.0 M5 on Feb
16.
However I don’t expect the flexible
GDB launcher feature that you mention will be available then. I will be
focusing on CDT 3.1.2 over the next couple of weeks and won’t have much
time to work on 4.0 features (other than back porting them to 3.1.2 J).

Subject: [cdt-dev] date for M5
build
Hi,
I’d like to ask when we can reach the M5 build of CDT.
We hope that CDT source code will support to debug embedded
applications or bootloader as Zylin plug-in does.
We want to debug U-Boot for ppc with CDT M5 rather than
using Zylin and as I remember this support will be integrated
for M5.
Thank you,
Best wishes
