[cdt-dev] Bug 93777: default preference for selected debugger

Hi,

 

As a fix for https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=93777 the "Debugger Types" preference page is added to the global workbench preferences (Window -> Preferences -> C/C++ -> Debug).

This feature allows users to filter the debugger types visible for the workbench. Also, users will be able to specify the default debugger type.

Combining it with the new launch configuration filtering feature provided by the platform, ISV's can configure their products by displaying the launch configurations and debuggers that are relevant to their working environment.
