I agree. I haven’t found any issues
with testing so far…

For some reason the
version number of cdt.core wouldn’t automagically update to 3.0.2 during
the build. All others did, though. Weird…
As a result, I have had
to put the hard coding back into the cdt feature.xml. This will unfortunately
trigger a rebuild on Monday. However since only the feature.xml has changed,
and there doesn’t seem to be any other issues that have been caused by
the version problem, I don’t think we’ll need a full retest.

Hi, I’ve installed this release
candidate (the runtime feature) and observe the following:
Under Help -> Software Updates ->
Manage Configuration the “Eclipse C/C++ Development Tools 3.0.2”
icon has a red cross over it. I go to properties and under status I see
the message “The feature is not configured properly.”. The
Reason is:
Plug-in
"org.eclipse.cdt.core" version "0.0.0" referenced by this
feature is missing.
Apart from this message it appears to
operate fine (I can create projects, etc.). I am using Eclipse SDK 3.1.1
Thanks,

Subject: [cdt-dev] CDT 3.0.2 RC0
Now Available
Hey gang, the build is finally complete. I had a
couple of hiccups since this was actually the first 3.0.2 build I’ve
done. But I ran a quick smoke test and everything seems to be working fine. The
build is available here:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/builds/3.0.2/RC0/index.html
So for the CDT 3.0.2 end
game, I was thinking if giving us the week to take this build out for a spin.
If there are no code changes and no bugs open by next Monday morning, we can
declare this build 3.0.2 GA, otherwise I’ll respin out an RC1. The amount
of change that goes into that build will determine the length of the next
cycle. Again, the objective is to get this finished in the next two weeks.
