RE: [cdt-dev] Open Definition/Declaration Bug?

A new window should not be opened when navigating to the definition or declaration.  I haven't been able to reproduce what you are describing.

Can you raise a PR and post specific instructions with example code that can be used to reproduce this behaviour?

Are you using a project that has mapped network files?

Note that Ctrl+F3 is "Open Definition" now.

There's still something strange. Suppose you have file.c open.
Test 1)
Hit Ctrl+F3 (or context menu "Open Declaration"), nothing happens.

Test 2)
Hit F3 (or context menu "Open Declaration"), the same file
is opened again in a new editor window, cursor at prototype
(even if you were previously there too).

Test 3)
Execute Test 2) prior to this and change into the newly opened
window. Executing Test 1) and Test 2) from here will do in this
window. The original editor window will not be used.

This were my initial tests on this new build, and this is strange behaviour
for me. I didn't expect a new window being opened, and Test 1) should work
from the ground up in the editor. Or did you intend window behaviour similar
to Source-Navigator? ;)
