[cdt-dev] Upgrade problem

Hello, all.
	After the 10-th attempt I gave up and ask for the help: I installed M8 on my 
RH9 linux-gtk. It works. Now, any attempt to upgrade with ANY build always 
ends with the same - I can not open any file in my project. The error message 
I receive says:

Unable to restore file.cpp
Reason:
Unable to create editor: file.cpp

or

Editor could not be initialized.

What can be wrong here? It is obviously in my installation as it repeats with 
about 10 builds including the last I tried - 200405130300.
