I have written a quick and dirty script
which extracts the contents of the update site and creates a suitable zip
file. There is one zip for all of CDT, including all platform specific
features. Eclipse is smart enough, however, to figure out which ones to
run at any given time. The zip file is at:

        http://update.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/updates/builds/1.2.1RC1/cdt-1.2.1RC1.zip

Would it be possible to post the zip distribution
on the web site?  I'm 
running CDT 1.2 on Mac OS X, using the Linux/Motif distribution.  I've
never been able to get the Update Manager to allow me to install 
updates, since they don't match my platform configuration.
