[bpmn-user] howto: add properties to a data object

in intalio bpmn modeler/designer, i want to 
create a data object and add properties to it. 
i can create a data object and view its existing
properties (for process exec., appearance,
advanced, annotation). 

but i can't add my own additional properties, 
e.g., under advanced or annotation. the BPMN 1.2 
spec spec. says that it is possible (table 9.42)
but i can't get intalio to do it.
