Rather than answer your question directly :-), I want to mention that there are
tutorials about both AspectJ and JBoss (and more!) at the upcoming AOSD 2004
conference in March. See:

Come and meet the implementers of both JBoss and AspectJ, and ask them in
person what the differences are!
