As a followup to all this, as of AJDT 1.6.4, the update site will have
a new layout and will be broken into several sub-features.  You only
need to select the main AJDT feature.

The update site now includes Equinox Aspects.  This will help ease
installation issues as an associated site is no longer necessary.

Also, manual installation of AJDT has been simplified.  It is also
possible to install AJDT (specifically Equinox Aspects) in a
non-default directory.  For details, see here:

That being said, we want to ensure that installation and the enabling
of JDT weaving is as smooth as possible.  If you have any problems,
