Re: [aperi-dev] Aperi miletsone 5 documentation plan - review closing this week (8/15)

Thanks for the feedback Dave. And no, you are not too late with your suggestion.

Currently, I have 14 PDs allocated to m5 changes for the online help. I also have 14 PDs allocated to m5 changes for the non-online help publications (UG, IG, etc.). So effectively I have 28 PDs reserved for m5 line items, including LIC.

With that in mind, I will still go ahead and bump up the PDs for m5 publications to 20 PDs, giving us a total of 34 PDs for m5 changes. Also, if the work for the online help turns out to be less that 14 PDs, I can borrow the unused days and apply them to the publications instead.

Does that sound like a reasonable approach?

Hey Chris,

I was out last week, so I hope I am not too late...
Your efforst for the User's Guide look a bit light to me. I think the LIC stuff is going to be pretty chunky and 14 PDs doesn't look like enough.
We will need to document HOWTO: 1) configure for use of the Higgins Authentication System, 2) write/test/deploy an LDF, 3) prepare a java application for Java Web Start with and without authentication, etc. Its at least a PM's worth I think.
