[actf-dev] Draft minutes: ACTF conference call (Jan. 26th)

Hi all,
Attached please find a minutes of ACTF call. Please correct any errors,
omissions, etc. by replying to this mail.

[Release status]
-0.9 release is planned in June.
-Major work item is improvement of WCAG 2.0/JIS X 8341-3:2010 support (AA
level).
[Discussions on ACTF enhancements]
Requirements:
-Programmatic access for statistics data of visualization/evaluation.
-APIs for automation (to evaluate thousands of Web pages, etc.).
-Reading speed estimation algorithm for Chinese language.
-Internationalization of UI components written in JavaScript. (Blind
visualization view, etc.)
-Visualization results are not consistent while loading page. (Need more
discussion.)
Action items:
-Design APIs for access to statistics data. (Kentarou)
-Send statistics that ACTF can provide to ML (Kentarou)
-Design APIs for automation (1st step might be to accept HTML files).

-Add internationalization of JavaScript UI components into bug list.
(Kentarou)
-Send information about ViCRAM implementation to Grace. (Kentarou)
-Investigate reading speed estimation algorithm for Chinese (incl.
information about common Chinese TTS). (Shaojian)
-Send summary to ML about the topic of Visualization while loading page.

Nominate Simon and Kentarou as new co-leads of ACTF.
Simon: Community relations, advertisement, research
Kentarou: Technical lead, project management
Action item:
-Check procedure for the formation change. (Kentarou)
