I imported Eclipse plugins into the work space in order to have an easy access
to the platform and JDT packages. It is really unbearable (more than 10 minutes
on 3Hz machine with 1 Gb of RAM, Windows XP, Eclopse3.1-RC1) to wait until Open
Type dialog is indexing files. It happens not only in this dialog, just in
situations when workspace should be re-indexed (references search for example).
In my case it indexed more than 11000 files according to message that indexer
displayed. I think, this is a new "feature", I never experienced this before. I
had it several times today. Usually it took less time (2-3 min) which is also
annoying.

I tried eclipse-SDK-N20050607-0010-win32.zip and could not reproduce the problem
any more. Looks like it is RC1 specific and has gone in the later builds.
