Description Tony Sung CLA 2005-05-31 13:54:48 EDT
When creating a folder under a project, we have the advanced option to created a
linked folder outside the project's hierarchy.

After created that, I set the java build destination to the linked folder.

However, when the project is reopened at a later time, by another eclipse
instance, the linked folder is converted back to a normal, local folder.

I suspect that is because before eclipse refreshed the project and discovered
the existence of the linked folder, the build process started already, forcing
the folder to be created locally, overwriting the linked folder.

Should investigate linked folders handling in the java builder.
Comment 2 Maxime Daniel CLA 2006-11-09 08:41:28 EST
Could not reproduce (tried 3.0.2 and 3.2.1).
Please feel free to reopen if you still have the problem, providing detailed steps to reproduce.

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
