Eclipse should allow printing from views other than the editor. for example, in the Java perspective, i would like to print from the javadoc view.
This would need to be a plan item - it crosses many components. MvM?
This seems like it should be a request on the JavaDoc view. I'm not sure this is a generally useful feature on a view, e.g. package explorer, outline, debug stack etc... Are there other views that you would like to see this on?

Other views for which printing ability would be: console, declaration, tasks, problems. For the last 2 ( and any other table base view ), an export to a spreadsheet format would be more helpful.
I don't think there will be a general printing or spreadsheet support. Please file enhancement requests for each component. I'll treat this one as request for Javadoc printing.
