If I rename the launcher in my target then launched targets do not get a splash 
screen.  This is because the command line for the target has -showSplash <path 
to eclipse.exe> but there is no eclipse.exe (renamed to say foo.exe).

No one has shown any interest in working on this in several years.  Closing as WONTFIX.  Please reopen if you are interested in contributing a fix.
