According to the (just updated) plan, this Issue is still open.

I just reopened it, whilst adding a new depending Issue (Bug 82593).

JSR-201 is not yet fully implemented in JDT.Core.

this is a specific issue.

This Issue is _not_ a duplicate of Bug 81706 ("[1.5] Static import of static
method produces compile error").

this is a specific Issue, which is unique. 

"REAL TESTCASES" are not a general requirement for filing issues.

Please close this Issue _after_ "JSR-201 ..." is implemented fully within

the plan].
