Besides the existing Search/References options, it would be nice to have a way
to search for all classes where a selected base-class/interface method is
overriden (or implemented for abstract methods).

Why don't you use "Lock View and Show Members in Hierarchy" button in Hierarchy
view?

Please reopen if "Lock View and Show Members in Hierarchy" is not a satisfactory
solution.
