let me preface this report with a 'thanks' for all the refactoring improvements
from 3.1M1 to 3.2M2!

what's still broken seems to be broken, sometimes when refactoring a method with
generic-ish return type, is that method calls in other classes get renamed, but
not in the declaring class itself!
