I'll attach a picture that shows that the yellow lightbulb can be present after the problem has been fixed and the source has been compiled. If I change the source file + save again to force another compile, the yellow lightbulb goes away. Øyvind
Created attachment 15741 [details] Shows yellow lightbulb present after problem fixed and project is built Nothing in the Error log. Øyvind
Is this reproducible? Did the error disappear from the Problems view? Auto-build on or off?
>Is this reproducible? No. I was going to fill in some more as I observed more during the day, but it only happened once. I've noticed that there is a change in behaviour for 3.1 M3 from the previous version I ran: editors that are not active have their error/warning marking icon set even after the project is rebuilt. When I switch to those views, the error markes disappear. This is different from what I first observed. >Did the error disappear from the Problems view? Yes. >Auto-build on or off? On.
That the editor tab does no longer update is bug 71843.
>That the editor tab does no longer update is bug 71843. What does "RESOLVED REMIND" mean? It does indeed sound like this bug could be a more obscure manifestation of bug 71843. Øyvind
No, the editor Tab bug is another problem. REMIND means we have not enough data yet to reproduce the problem but think there is a problem in contrast to WORKSFORME where we think there's no bug. However, we will not work on it until we have more information.
