Add functionality to facilitate the creation of editors such as Wordpad, 
Powerpoint, etc.  See:

This will have to move officially to post 3.2.  The support is demonstrated in the org.eclipse.gef.examples.text plugin.  However, the infrastructure classes will remain in the example plugin for 3.2.
