With Eclipse 3.1 20040914 (and other 3.1 builds before), I noticed that my CPU
was eaten up by Eclipse. When I switch the ProgressView to "verbose" during this
CPU load, I can see a "System: Java AST creation" entry, and sometimes others of
that kind having been cancelled (but still at least one running).

My project is fairly big, and I didn't notice this problem when I closed it and
only worked on smaller projects in my workspace.

Also this does not seem to occur when running Eclipse 3.0.

Oh, and now it's eating my CPU with *any* entry in the verbose ProgressView...

Could you please provide a thread dump when this occurs?
I don't see what could cause such a regression.

Close as WORKSFORME.
We cannot say it's fixed as do not know if there's a change which fix this issue (ie. we have no reference in code nor in buildnotes for this change)...
